51st Annual Sourdough River Festival Details:
Dates: Saturday, July 10 and Sunday, July 11, 2010 at Terwillegar Park, Edmonton.
The Sourdough Raft Race Association is producing this fun-filled two day festival
featuring a Sourdough Kids Zone Mini Carnival where children can build and race
their own mini raft, face painting, games, music, fun, and prizes will be the
highlight; proceeds in support of YESS.
The HMCS Nonsuch will be on deck with
displays and information celebrating their 100th anniversary.
MAIN EVENT Large
Commercial Rafts launch from Terwillegar Park Sunday July 11, 2010 at Noon and
will arrive at Rafter's Landing around 3 pm!
Watch the final moments of the spectacular official raft race, including the awarding of the Admiral’s Choice
Trophy and a $1000 gift prize. The Awards Ceremony takes place at 4:00 PM at
Rafters’ Landing.

There will be a $25 late
fee for entries received after Wednesday, June 30, 2010
Raft placement takes
place on Saturday, July 10 between 8:00 AM and Noon at Terwillegar Park. Crane
service is included in registration fee. Contact our office regarding barrels.
