Now in its 51st year, the annual Sourdough River Festival offers family fun, games, fresh air and raft races! This year, the Youth Emergency Shelter Society is helping to present this great summer festival, with YESS volunteers hosting the Sourdough Kids Zone with face-painting, traditional carnival games like “Pick a Duck” and Sack Races and cool prizes for the kids! Additionally, YESS will provide a BBQ concession with hamburgers, hotdogs and ice-cold pop. All proceeds from the Sourdough Kids Zone will go towards helping YESS in its mission to “give youth at risk a chance”.
Join us for the fun in Edmonton’s beautiful river valley!
